LASERDRILL provides dry-fire training software and related services. This policy explains how the LASERDRILL app handles information when you use the app.
For registered accounts, we process your username, email address, country calling code, phone number, and authentication information. Passwords are stored on our account server as salted hashes, not as readable passwords. If you choose to remember your login, the app stores a server-issued login token in protected storage on your device.
Guest mode uses a randomly generated installation identifier to recognize your guest account. Saved training data can include the selected target, hit positions, scores, timing, and training history. This information is associated with your registered or guest account.
The app processes camera frames on your device to recognize printed targets and laser hits. The recognition feature does not upload the live camera feed to our account server. Our hosting service also processes connection information, including IP addresses and service-access logs, to operate and secure the service.
We use this information to verify accounts, deliver requested services, save training history, prevent abuse, troubleshoot the service, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal information.
Camera access is used for target and laser recognition. The app does not use the camera for advertising. We send verification messages through Twilio for registration and password recovery; Twilio processes the destination phone number, message content, and delivery information. The app does not need access to your SMS inbox or contacts.
If you choose to share a results image, that image is passed to the app or service you select. Tutorials open YouTube, which processes information under its own privacy policy. These actions are optional.
Our account service is hosted using Alibaba Cloud in the United States. Information is processed by service providers acting for us, including our hosting and SMS providers, and may be disclosed when required by law. If you use the app from another country, your information is transferred to the United States for account services.
We retain account and saved training information while the account is active, until you request deletion, or as needed for the purposes described here. Account deletion removes the profile, saved training records, score history, rewards, and verification-code entry from the active account database. Hosting backups, security logs, support correspondence, and SMS delivery records are separate from that active database; deletion may not immediately remove these records. Information required for security, legal obligations, or disputes may be retained for those purposes.
You can permanently delete your account and associated training data in the app: Profile > DELETE ACCOUNT & DATA. You will be asked to re-enter your current password before deletion. If you cannot access the app, use our account deletion page to request assistance. We verify requests before acting on them.
LASERDRILL is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
